Sebastian Stoll · · 2 min read

It only takes a couple of minutes to set up UndoPortal.

1. Create an account

First, go to https://admin.undoportal.com and create an account.

2. Fill in your domain and email

Once you're logged in, fill in two fields:

  • Store domain — the address of your store, e.g. mystore.com.
  • Notification email — the email you want to be notified at every time a customer submits a withdrawal, e.g. owner@mystore.com.

Click the blue button to continue.

Fill in your store domain and notification email, and click Create hosted form

3. Select "BigCommerce"

On this step you will simply be asked what system you are using. Select "BigCommerce".

3. Copy your embed code

Once your store has been created, you'll see your inbox.

Click the Copy embed button to copy the iframe code.

4. Create a new page in BigCommerce

Open BigCommerce and go to Storefront -> Web pages -> Create a Web Page.

Create web page

5. Give the page a name and click the "Source code" button

6. Paste the embed code

Paste the code you copied in step 3 into the HTML field.

7. Click "Save and Exit"

Click Save and Exit. Your withdrawal form is now live, and your customers can use it right away.

Click the Save button to publish the page

8. Make the form easy to find

Finally: add a link to the new page somewhere customers can easily find it — e.g. in the footer, in the menu, on your returns and withdrawal page, etc.

One of the directive's requirements is that the withdrawal form must be 'easily accessible'.

Done

That's it! You're now compliant, and in just a few minutes you have a withdrawal form on your BigCommerce store.
